The position is offered for a period of 3 years, if no former times of qualification must be considered. The starting date is 01st July 2023. The position is part-time (50 % of regular working hours) with salary and benefits commensurate with a public service position in the state Hesse, Germany (TV-H E 13, 50 %).
The position is limited to a time period deemed adequate for the completion of a doctoral degree. As part of the assigned duties, there will be ample opportunity to conduct the independent scientific research necessary for the completion of a doctorate. The limitation complies to § 2, 1 WissZeitVG.
The motivation to gain your own scientific qualification (e. g. through a doctoral project in the field of biochemistry/mocrobiology with a focus on cell biology) is expected.
We actively support the professional development of young scientists, e. g. by participating in the graduate program International Max Planck Reserch School IMPRS-Mic, the Center for Synthetic Microbiology (SYNMIKRO), and through the offers of the Marburg Reserch Academy (MARA), the Internatinal Office and the Offices for University Didactics and Personal Development.
