The position is offered until 31st December 2027. The starting date is as soon as possible, subject to approval of funds. The position is fulltime with salary and benefits commensurate with a public service position in the state Hesse, Germany (TV-H E 13).
The position has a focus on research software engineering and is part of the project „VABiKo – Visual Analytics for the Image Collection of the German Colonial Society”, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) within the program „Scientific Library Services and Information Systems“ (LIS). In the project, you will develop innovative solutions for analyzing and searching historical images. The project is carried out in cooperation with the University Library of the Goethe University Frankfurt.
This is a project position that is not limited according to § 2, 1 WissZeitVG.
